NC Program Simulation with the Capability of Generating Alternative Process Plan for Flexible Manufacturing

This research effort focuses on improving the flexibility of production engineering for manufacturing industry by means of providing technological alternatives. A new generation of NC simulators required supporting the decision making of production engineering. In this paper a conception of NC simulator trying to fill this gap is given. This is a step forward realising Virtual Manufacturing.
