This paper deals with the myth of Dana�� in Classical antiquity. The author discusses the multiple versions of the myth through an analysis of literary sources, by quoting and examining many texts by Ancient Greek and Latin authors such as ��� among others ��� Homer, Pindar, Simonides, Pseudo-Apollodorus, Lucian, Horace, Hyginus, Ovid.
