Abstract
- The article describes mathematical model of three-phase alternative current electric arc furnace with mutual in-ductances between phases. The results of mathematical modeling show that mutual inductance causes sufficient impact on balance of active power in three phases. This feature must be considered during parametrization of the electric mode control system. Otherwise, the "transfer of power" effect from one phase to another may led to overheating of the water-cooled panels and early wear of the fireproof brick lining. Prevention of such negative factors allows to minimize production loses and increase general quality factors of steelmaking workshop.
