Abstract

With the evolution of the domestic power system reform and the electricity sales market is becoming more competitive, it is necessary for the power grid enterprises to build the simulation system for the market operations to estimate the challenges and find out the solutions. The paper elaborates the method design, the scenarios design, the services design, and the functional design of the simulation system for the electricity sales market operations, where the products provided by the electricity sales companies and the policies adopted by the power grid enterprises are analyzed in details by deliberating the service needs and characteristics of various types of the electricity customers. The scenario of the electricity customer churns probability is simulated with the three cases, whose results are analyzed and shows that the power grid enterprises could increase their competitiveness in the market and retain their important customers by adjusting their policies and providing their products respectively corresponding to the characteristics of the electricity customers.
