Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of tourism motivation on the value and satisfaction of the autocamping tour. The study also examined the moderating effect of gender on the relationship between value of tourism motive. This research was conducted using data collected from 237 respondents of autocamping customers used at least more than 50 tent sites. First, the deviation of tourism motivation, participation in camping activity, and familism have positive effects on the value of use. Second, the use value has a positive effect on satisfaction. Third, the effect of the deviation of tourism motivation and familiality on the value of use was found to have a moderating effect according to gender.
