Abstract
- A polyaniline-modified almond (PANI@AS) and walnut shells (PANI@WS) biocomposites were designed and prepared via the in situ chemical polymerization in this investigation. SEM-EDX, FT-IR, and potentiometric titration were combined to analyze the texture and chemical structure of the as-synthetized PANI@AS and PANI@WS biocomposites. A dynamic adsorption process was employed to test the as-prepared biocomposite adsorbent performance to adsorb Orange G (OG) dye from effluents. The phenomenon of adsorption of OG on the as-prepared biocomposites has been found dependent on various operating conditions. Hence, this finding disclosed the suitable capability employment of PANI@WS and PANI@AS biocomposites for treating wastewater.
