Abstract
- We demonstrate the wavelength-selective beam deflector based on the Fano-resonant metasurface, which is composed of rotating double nanorods with metal film as reflector. By combining two concepts of phase modulation, geometric phase and Fano phase, we introduce the wavelength selective characteristics in optical beam switching. Our results can extend the studies for the application of metasurface that requires narrowband as well as broadband, such as optical switching and filtering.
