Abstract
- Adverse drug reaction vocabulary is not different from the terminology of clinical manifestations due to diseases. A computer-based automated drug monitoring system can detect all the signals which may indicate an adverse drug reaction, a clinical manifestation of the disease treated, or both. Various statistical models are discussed which may be applied for separating adverse reactions from clinical manifestations.
