Operational amplifier based LC resonant circuit for adiabatic logic

Abstract
- This paper presents a new LC resonant circuit using operational amplifier (Op-amp) for power supply of adiabatic logic. The concept of the proposed LC resonant circuit is the same as our previously proposed circuit in 2015 but the feature of the proposed circuit is that, the peak controller that has lower power consumption is composed of Op-amp based comparator and LPF. From the SPICE simulation results with 0.18 μm CMOS process, the power consumption of the proposed circuit is 22.6 μW, which is 36% less compared with the conventional one.
