Abstract: The article deals with a case from clinical practice: a patient complained of itching in the area of a previously performed tattoo, a change in appearance: pronounced skin thickening, peeling. As a result of clinical and morphological examination, lichen planus was diagnosed in the area of red pigment injection as a complication of tattooing.
