Application of absorption spectroscopy in optoelectronic analyzer of oxygen and carbon monoxide concentration

In the article, the processes of low-oxygen corrosion are discussed as well as the main reasons for continuous monitoring of chosen gases’ concentrations in the thin layer close to the walls inside the power boiler. We present application of the absorption spectroscopy in measurements of the above mentioned gas concentrations. Moreover the idea of a fiber-optic concentration analyzer of CO and O 2 in the considered gas layer, is presented.
