Abstract

Zygomatico-maxillary fractures are the most frequent fractures of the middle face. Their functional and aesthetic repercussions pose a great challenge to the practitioner. Their management is a challenge, which raises an altercation between the authors, between orthopedic and surgical indications, and the different surgical approaches. We report a retrospective workup study of 262 cases of zygomaticomaxillary fractures, in 4 years, managed in our department to evaluate and compare the different postoperative results of these fractures treated by orthopedic reduction and/or by osteosynthesis.
