Abstract: Lidar measurements in fog were carried out in the years 1978 and 1980 as a part of the Air Traffic Control Program of the CNR. The aim of these experiments was the measurement of the atmospheric extinction coefficient and the determination of the multiple-scattering effect on this kind of measurements.
