Abstract: Summary This chapter presents two methods for the determination of the characteristics of transverse electromagnetic (TEM) lines. These methods are conform transformations and finite differences. Finite differences method can be used for lines with complicated geometry, but it takes a lot of computation. The chapter discusses solutions of some problems related to conform transformations method.
