Abstract

A Cloud Policy Enforcement Point (CPEP) provides a network security and access policy enforcement point between a public data center and an on-premises center or a remote office site or location. The network connectivity could be provided by a Direct Connect (DX) or a Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) connection. A CPEP is primarily implemented using service control policies.
