Abstract

The traditional drying method of dried persimmons is laborious and time-consuming. Moreover, the finished product rate of dried persimmons is significantly low. According to the characteristics and requirements of the dried persimmon drying process, a drying control system for persimmon based on single-chip microcomputer and PID is proposed in this paper. In the control system, the single-chip STC89C52 is used as the master controller, the PID controller is used to regulate the temperature of the persimmon drying room, the LCD1602 liquid crystal screen is used to monitor the drying process in real time, and the buzzer is used to alarm when the temperature exceeds the limit. The results of simulation experiment show that, compared with the traditional drying method of dried persimmon, the designed drying control system for dried persimmon can conveniently set the parameters of drying time, temperature, etc. The control system not only realizes real-time control, detection and display of the dried persimmon drying process but also improves the drying efficiency and quality of dried persimmons.
