Abstract
- THE possibility that immediate neurovascular injury will follow fracture of the clavicle has become generally known. Delayed involvement of the subclavian vessel or brachial plexus after ununited or excessively callused fractures of the clavicle, however, has rarely been reported.1 2 3 4 For this reason the cases of 2 patients with malunion of fractured clavicles associated with thrombosis of the subclavian vein are recorded below. In 1, an ununited clavicle with a pseudoarthrosis narrowed the costoclavicular space.
