Abstract

Pitavastatin inhibits 3-hydroxy-3-methyl-glutaryl coenzyme A reductase and lowers blood cholesterol levels [1]. Although pitavastatin may occasionally cause adverse events (such as abdominal pain), no reports of cutaneous drug eruption have been reported in the English literature.
