Abstract
- One of our major approaches to information storage and control through the years (1–5) has been to have external information alter the physical structure of amorphous material and have the change of structure detected unambiguously by the concomitant electrical, chemical, optical and other changes that accompany the structural transformation. In this manner, external information is encoded into an internal structural change.
