Comprehensive forecast system of the thickness of coal seam and its application

Abstract

In order to improve prediction accuracy of coal seam thickness, this paper roundly enumerated existing forecast methods in terms of ground and underground. By difference characteristic analysis and suitability contrast evaluation of various forecast methods, we proposed a principle of comprehensive forecast that treating the geological analysis as the target, basing on drilling, bonding geological analysis, drilling and geophysical exploration, combining ground and underground data, fusing multi-information. On the basis of the principle, we established a system of comprehensive prediction. The applying of some coal mine result shows that comprehensive system of predicting coal seam thickness can enhance forecast precision, which had increased coal yield and promoted sustainable development of coal resources.
