Protecting textile materials from biological damage with oligo(organo)ethoxysiloxane with pharmacophoric levomycetin-containing ligands

Technology for antimicrobial finishing of cotton fabric and a method for synthesizing a new antimicrobial organosilicon preparation of oligo(organo)ethoxysiloxane with pharmacophoric ligands containing a levomycetin residue were developed as a result of the studies. The synthesized preparation gives cotton fabric elevated antimicrobial properties that are resistant to laundering.
