Abstract

The results of the research and development of the unified radiotechnical characteristic of aircraft radomes are presented: an increase in the level of antenna side radiation, associated with the presence of a radome in front of the antenna. It is shown that for an objective assessment of the radio engineering quality of radomes the integral characteristic is best suited – the average increase in the level of antenna radiation power in the required sectors of viewing angles. It has been demonstrated that this characteristic weakly depends on the properties of the antenna with which the radome is estimated.
