Abstract

When angiopathic patients arrive in the hospital, they usually present symptomatologies caused by vascular occlusion with stoppage of flow or advanced stenosis with significant reduction of flow. This results in ischemia in the arterial region and stasis in the venous region. Thus total or partial vascular occlusions, almost always thrombotic (sometimes embolic for the arteries), comprise the essence of angiopathies, and represent 90% of the cases that come under our observation.
