Abstract
- A new propagation prediction algorithm based on DTED (Digital Terrain Elevation Data) digital map is presented for the prediction of Radar propagation through large scale irregular complex terrain. The computational accuracy has been greatly improved compared with conventional radio propagation models. The calculated results are compared with Longley-Rice model and Lee model.
