Revision der Familie Cylindrachetidae Giglio-Tos, 1914 (Orthoptera, Tridactyloidea)

The family Cylindrachetidae Giglio-Tos, 1914 is revised. Supplementary redescriptions are given to all hitherto known two genera (Cylindracheta Kirby, 1906 and Cylindroryctes Tindale, 1928) and six species. The genus Cylindraustraliagen. n. and ten species of this taxon (C. acutasp. n., C. centricolasp. n., C. cookensissp. n., C. divisasp. n., C. granulatasp. n., C. karumbensissp. n., C. parakochiasp. n., C. parvitarsatasp. n., C. setosasp. n., C. tindaleisp. n.) are described as new to science. A lectotype of Cylindroryctes spegazzinii (Giglio-Tos, 1914) is designated. Now 3 genera and 16 species belong to this family. Cylindracheta psammophila Tindale, 1928 is a younger synonym of Cylindraustralia kochii (Saussure, 1877). Keys to the genera and species are included. The geographical distribution and the relationship of the taxa is discussed.
