Abstract: This paper presents a cost-effective electromagnetic energy harvester (EMEH) based on wire-wound technology. It also shows the energy management system used to convert the EMEH's AC voltage to a DC one. The EH system is self-powered and does not require external sources or pre charge of any of its components and provides maximum power point tracking.
