Abstract

Despite experience over many years with the use of corrosion inhibitors in industrial cooling systems, the problem of the rational treatment of water is still very real in the context of the anti-corrosion treatment of pipelines and equipment. There are various reasons for this, but the most important are associated with ecological requirements and water scarcity. The intensification of technological regimes is also important, for example, the increase in temperature of heat exchange surfaces can stimulate not only corrosion but also scale formation.
