Deposition control on an optical fiber thin film using the Dip-Coater to detect pH

This work shows the experimental results obtained by using dip-coater to develop a sol-gel membrane or film on plastic fiber mixed with pH indicators. This will be used as recogni tion components. pH concentration was detected and quantified by use absorbance. Parameters considered to have a preparation control and membrane thickness are explained.
