On the Precision of the coverages of β-content inner tolerance intervals

For samples of any given size n>-2 from a normal distribution, Gillespie (1984) has shown how to obtain the factor k so that the coverage of each tail will be at least 1-p. In order to show the effect of sample size on the coverage, this paper presents the maximum difference between the actual coverage and the required value, β, for the coverage.
