Abstract
- Fluorine-silicone acrylate copolymers were synthesized with vinyltriethoxysilane (VTES), methyl hexafluorobutyl acrylate (HFMA), and other acrylate monomers by free radical polymerization. Further studies were directed at the water absorption ratio, contact angle and anti-adhesive performance of the films. The results indicated that the copolymers had narrow molecular weight distribution and high temperature stability. The films coated by copolymers showed excellent water/oil repellency with the contact angles of water and diiodomethane of 108.2° and 78.0°, respectively. Anti-adhesive performance testing demonstrated that the films had low peel strength, high residual adhesion rate and excellent water and solvent resistance.
