Abstract
- Random-exchange metallic spin glass Ho5Co50Al45 is investigated by static and dynamic magnetization measurements. The specimen is initially characterized as spin-glass-like below the freezing point Tf~14 K. The freezing phenomenon at Tf is examined by static and dynamic scaling analysis. The results support the existence of a paramagnetic-spin-glass phase transition at Tg14.2 K, with critical exponents of the transition as = 6.4, = 3.3 and z = 11.8.
