Abstract
- A study of the grammar and the dialect (vowel changes) of the "Early south-English Legendary", and gives a general idea of peculiarities of the manuscript.The paper is based on a study of every word in a selected passage of ~500 lines of the Manuscript covering the stories "St. Mathew", "St. Leger", "St. Fey", "Endlevene ��ousand of Virgines, and eight line of "St. Katerine".
