Application of Data Mining Technology in Geological Exploration Engineering

With the rapid development of modern Internet technology and information technology, the new technology of surveying and mapping also incorporates the elements of modern science and technology in geological exploration engineering, which strengthens the scientificity of surveying and mapping, and realizes the application of data mining technology in geological exploration engineering with larger scope and domain. The application of new surveying and mapping technology using data mining improves the accuracy of the geological exploration engineering projects, enhances the quality, efficiency and safety of geological exploration engineering, and plays an important role in the smooth development of geological exploration engineering. This paper expounds the application of data mining technology in geological exploration engineering, and puts forward the GPS positioning method of new surveying and mapping technology. The simulation results show that this method effectively improves the surveying and mapping method and improves the accuracy of surveying and mapping data by data mining in geological exploration engineering.
