Time and/or space resolved laser Raman spectroscopy

The recent spectroscopic methods used in Ranan spectroscopy are reviewed and compared according to their abilities to diversify the applications of Raman spectroscopy in the field of time-resolved, space-resolved and space-time-resolved investigations in gaseous, liquid and solid samples. Some selected specific examples of applications including time-resolved studies of chemical reactions, nanosecond and picosecond Raman spectroscopy, instantaneous macroscopic mapping of heterogeneous sample, Raman microspectrometry and imaging microscopy are given.
