Description of Virtual Equipment in the EVEEE Environment

In this paper is developed the methodology to describe virtual equipment in the database of the Engine for Virtual Electrical Engineering Equipment (EVEEE). Each equipment is defined on two levels: graphical and functional. The graphical level describes how the equipment, its virtual components and inputs/outputs appear to the user. The functional level includes the circuit schematic, the variables and operations required to operate it as well as the manipulation of the components and their relation to the circuit. The equipment visual and functional representation is defined entirely in the database of the environment, in order to provide the required flexibility and ease of creation.
