ChemInform Abstract: Selective Fluorination of Substituted Trichloromethyl Benzenes by HF in Liquid Phase: Preparation of Fluorinated Building Blocks

Selective trifluoromethylation of the corresponding chlorinated compounds is achieved by successive Cl/F exchange under mild conditions using HF as the fluorinating agent.
