Abstract

Carbon-13 direct-detection NMR is becoming increasingly used to complement 1H-detected experiments in biomolecular applications. Here we describe the novel aspects that were addressed to convert 13C direct-detection into a useful routinely applicable tool, a selection of the most useful 13C direct-detection protonless NMR experiments and how they can be exploited for the study of proteins. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
