Abstract
- Oscillation regimes in a multimode gyrotron under the influence of quasi-monochromatic external signal with a frequency close to the operating frequency are studied. The calculations were performed for a powerful 170 GHz gyrotron perspective prototype developed at IAP RAS for ITER. The parameter regions were found where the frequency of operating mode is locked by external signal and follows the variations in the external signal frequency.
