This multiauthored book is the 24th in the Hahnemann Symposia series and offers a thorough examination of the problem of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease. The book is written in 51 chapters arranged into seven sections: pathogenesis, pathology, pathophysiology, angina pectoris: diagnosis, angina pectoris: treatment and prognosis, myocardial infarction, myocardial infarction: treatment and prognosis. This logical organization enhances the systematic development and presentation of the latest information available on this most important of all problems in cardiology.
