Abstract: Assisted by high-level quantum-chemical calculations, the cis and trans conformers of HSSOH have been unambiguously identified among the products of the flash-vacuum pyrolysis of tert-butylthiosulfinic acid S-tert-butylester by using rotational spectroscopy.
