Abstract

THE MODEL OF THE CONVENTIONAL GLOBALIZATION DEVELOPMENT, DEMANDS TO THE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES TO APPLY POLICIES THAT FAVOR MORE TO THE DEVELOPED SECTORS. IN THE RURAL SECTOR THEY HAVE BEEN APPLYING POLICIES LESS FAVORABLE TO THE PEASANTS FAMILIES, CAUSING THESE ARRANGE NEW STRATEGIES OF SURVIVING, TO RESIST THE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL CHANGES THAT ATTEMPT AGAINST TO THEIR PRODUCTION AND REPRODUCTION. IN MEXICO, THERE ARE GROUPS OF PEASANTS WHO HAVE SURVIVED TO SUCH POLICIES, DUE TO THE APPLICATION OF ALTERNATIVE STRATEGIES DEVELOPED BY THEMSELVES AS RESULT OF THEIR CAPACITY OF SELF-ARRANGEMENT TO FACE ADVERSE SITUATIONS. ACCORDING TO THE SITUATION ABOVE, THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS WORK WAS TO ANALYZE THE FACTORS THAT EXPLAIN THE PROCESS OF SELF-ARRANGEMENT OF THE PEASANTS OF COMMUNITY VICENTE GUERRERO, IN COMPARISON TO ANOTHER PEASANT COMMUNITY, LA REFORMA, IN TLAXCALA STATE. FOR THIS ANALYSIS WE USED THE AGROECOLOGY APPROACH THAT SUPPORTS IN THE RATIONALITY BETWEEN THE NATURE AND THE SOCIAL GROUPS. THE INFORMATION WAS GENERATED WITH QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE TECHNIQUES. VICENTE GUERRERO, IN COMPARISON TO WHICH IT HAPPENS IN LA REFORMA SHOWS GREATER APPLICATION OF AGROECOLOGY PRACTICES, WIDER PARTICIPATION AND SOCIAL ORGANIZATION AND MORE ECOLOGICAL CONSCIENCE, PHENOMENON THAT IS REFLECTED IN THE BEST HANDLING AND CONSERVATION OF ITS RESOURCES GROUND AND WATER. THIS IS EXPLAINED BY THE INTERACTION THAT HAS EXISTED BETWEEN THE PEASANTS AND THE GOVERNMENT INSTANCES, BUT WITH GREATER WEIGHT WITH NON GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATIONS, THAT ARE INTERRELATED WITH DIFFERENT METHODOLOGIES FROM THE TRADITIONAL ONES, LIKE THE METHODOLOGY FARMER TO FARMER.
