Abstract
- Several males and females of an undescribed nematode genus of the subfamily Tylenchinae were found in soil around grass collected from a location not far from Peyto Lake in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. A new genus and new species, Dactylotylenchus crassacuticulus, is herein described to accommodate this new taxon, which is significantly different from other genera in the subfamily, in possessing a finger-like labial framework and a thick cuticle.
