Abstract
- Some microprobe analyses of glasses from experimental samples are proved or implied to have different compositions from the equilibrium liquids present under the experimental conditions. Before a microprobe analysis of a glass is accepted as that of the liquid, its validity must be ascertained by alternative methods.
