Abstract
- 1. The molecular dipole moments (DM) of the 26 studied selenophosphoryl compounds vary in the range 2.70–6.65 D. The reasons for the changes in the DM are discussed. 2. The dipole moments of the P=Se bond displays a greater variability than do P=S and P=O. According to the obtained and literature data, the polarizability and coordination character of the P=X bond changes in the order: P=Se> P=Se> P=O.
