Abstract
- The dependence of the microhardness of PMMA and PS on indenter penetration time and temperature has been studied. It is shown that the microindentation process is a kinetic process. A relation is established between the kinetic characteristics of the microindentation process and the corresponding characteristics of the fracture process.
