Abstract

A new adsorbent S101 was prepared by loading single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) on white supporters 101 of packed column. Using scanning electron microscope, it can be clearly observed that SWCNTs have been loaded on the supporters. The particle size distribution was from 180 μm to 250 μm, the specific surface area was 16.8 m 2 g −1 , and the application temperature was 400°C. The recoveries of samples with different humidity and storage time were identified, respectively, and the breakthrough volume (BTV) for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) was determined by elution chromatography. The results showed that the sampling permeability and precision effectively improved when the original excellent adsorption properties were maintained. For most VOCs, the ratios of the requirement of duplicate precision (DP) and distributed volume pair (DVP) were 100%.
