Abstract

A frame synchronization method with low cost and low resource consumption is proposed for high-speed laser signals with bandwidths of GHz. After the high-speed laser signal is photoelectric converted, the output is sent to the comparator to make a hard decision. Then a high speed baseband pulse signal is obtained. Through the Gigabit transceiver, the frame of high speed pulse signal is synchronized, in the monobit way. After a brief introduction of Gigabit transceiver usage and monobit receiving structure, simulation is taken for the proposed frame synchronization method. We confirm that the frame synchronization head can be effective captured. The performance of the capture is analyzed to verify the feasibility of the proposed frame synchronization method.
