Smart Grid Security Protection Against False Data Injection (FDI) Attacks

The main security concern for Power Control System and State Estimation process is FDI attacks that based on adding fabricated readings in the measurements vector for state estimation process, i.e., sensors and measurements units’ readings about grid status and consumers requirements, to mislead CC to make wrong decisions, such as redistributing electricity according to that wrong injected information, and consequently cause huge damage to power system, such as large blackout, which has negative economic and financial impacts.
