Abstract
- Ni(II) and Co(II) precursors were reacted with MgO, MgAl 2 O 4 , and γ-Al 2 O 3 . The reaction products were characterized by X-ray analysis, temperature programmed reduction, and magnetic susceptibility, The different stabilizations toward reduction were correlated with the site preference and formal valence state of the transition metal ions.
