Abstract: The objective of this chapter is to discuss and analyze the knowledge measurement approaches presented in Chapter 2. The cognitive science approach will be evaluated and the knowledge measurement methods will be discussed second. Reflection on the measurement approaches leads to the derivation of the knowledge potential view which will be explained, and it will form the basic idea for the knowledge measurement process discussed in Chapter 5.
